Hello and welcome to Runderella, a blog launched in 2012 as a way of sharing my journey through training and completing my first half marathon. My passion for running started as a way to destress and letting things go.
I hope that you are able to find encouragement, inspiration, and motivation here as you embark on your running journey. As a Jeff Galloway Blogger, here you will find run/walk/run tips from the legendary Olympian, as well as race recaps, product reviews and discounts, and training updates.
I love to runDisney, so here you will find tips from making a successful trip to the expo, race registration tips, race recaps, and more. Getting to run in Disney – what better way to get in shape, have fun and earn pretty bling while you’re at it!
I’m happy with the accomplishments I’ve made since I started distance running. I may not be the fastest, and while I’ve had my share of frustrations with my IT Band, tackling those long training runs, and crossing that finish line is an indescribable feeling.
Little tidbits about me:
My name is Lindy, I’m a registered nurse working in a level IV neonatal intensive care unit in Pennsylvania. I live with my dog Sophie, and a rose breasted (Galah) cockatoo named Hailey who is cute and cuddly but also downright mean. I’m passionate about animals and have been vegetarian since 2004.
I have partnered with Honey Stinger, Spartan Race, Vega, Bucks County Half Marathon, and Hot Chocolate 15K/5K Series. I am currently a Sweat Pink Ambassador and a Fitfluential Ambassador, as well as a Beachbody Coach.
I like to consider myself a bibliophile. My favorite book is The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. I also enjoyed the Harry Potter Series, and page-turning suspense novels such as Gillian Flynn’s Dark Places and Sharp Objects.
I’m known to sing loudly in the car, especially to the Hamilton Musical Soundtrack. It’s amazing, seriously.
I can often be found at an airport, the beach, a live music venue, or at Flywheel. I dream of being a Flywheel instructor someday 🙂
I’d love to hear from you. Just say hi! I’m nice 🙂 Feel free to use the contact form below to message me.
